He takes pride in all of his work-as an example, he made a handmade cutting board for me as a thank you gift. It looks more like art-the wood grain looks like raindrops on a windowpane (see photo). The wood glimmers and looks like it has a metallic sheen. I have it on display, as it is too beautiful to use. If he puts that much care and effort into a cutting board, imagine how much he puts into building a home or remodeling a kitchen or bathroom!
